Beginning in the early months of District
Governor John Beckett's term of 2004 - 2005, members of the
district leadership team met a number of times in order to
formulate a vision for our district, and a tactical plan which
would accomplish that vision over time.
The purpose of these efforts was to provide
the district a framework that would provide continuity to
leadership despite yearly changes in the individuals who make
up the leadership team.
It was also decided that these documents
were to be working documents subject to regular review and
revision, so that both the vision and the plan would remain
current with the evolving state of the district.
All district Rotarians are asked to review
these tools, and their input is sincerely requested. Feel free
to email your comments and suggestions to Bob and Mary Keely
of the Putnam Club, who are the chairpersons of our strategic
planning committee.
